Le Rive Gauche Tower

March 1973. A full-page color advertisement in Le Figaro proclaimed the merits of the apartments for sale by the Batima company in the heart of the “Le Rive Gauche” tower in Paris.

The sentences are short but to the point. Each word carries a weighty argument. ˝Salons-terrasses on the Seine front˝ – ˝No dead space˝ – ˝No more useless corridors˝ – ˝Panoramic view˝ – ˝Firm and definitive launch price˝. A full-color plan illustrated these claims. ˝Finally a developer who takes the risks for himself ˝ concluded the ad, which stated ˝Batima has always kept its word˝

This advertising campaign, totally innovative at the time, sums up the philosophy of Gabriel Aknin, a visionary entrepreneur.
