In 1965, Gabriel Aknin founded Batima with the intention of bringing real estate development, then in the throes of transformation, into step with the times. His early achievements, which combined creative inventiveness, entrepreneurial agility and sociological reflection, fortified a reputation that has been expressed over the years in a number of major projects.

For the past 20 years, his two sons, Yves and Gilles Aknin, have ensured the continuity of this vision, in line with market needs, in a continuous process of improvement.
