In 1965, Gabriel Aknin founded Batima with the intention of bringing real estate development—then undergoing major change—into step with its time. His first projects, combining creative inventiveness, entrepreneurial agility, and sociological insight, strengthened a reputation that has grown over the years through large-scale developments. For more than 25 years, his two sons, Yves and Gilles Aknin, have ensured the continuity of this vision, aligned with market needs, through a continuous improvement process.
